Sago Palm
General description: The Sago Palm is a wonderful indoor palm tree that adds a lush and exotic touch to any decor. The Sago Palm is actually a cycad not really a palm tree. It is one of the oldest species of plants that exist on the earth.
This indoor palm tree has sturdy, spiny, fern-like, dark-green in color leaves that grow out and bend outward from the center. All parts of plant are poisonous for humans and animals if digested.

Light requirements: Bright light. Place it near the brightest window you have.
Water requirements: The soil should be moist, but not constantly wet. The soil should be dried out between watering. Overwatering leads to the development of root rot and yellowing.

Soil conditions: Well-drained, sandy soil.
Fertilization: Spray the Cycas Revoluta with fertlizers containing manganese, magnesium, iron and potassium.
Pests and diseases: Frizzle top, scale insects.
